Malignant Pleural Effusion

My mother was just diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer (NSCLC). It was found when she had a thoracentesis and the fluid was positive for cancer cells. It is only in one lung and some lymph nodes. I was just looking for some advice on certain treatments that might work? Just wondering if anyone can give me some input of what is a good drug with the problem with pleural effusion? Thanks. Concerned daughter.
