... which I don't want.... the doctors are really pressuring me.  I figure if I watch my diet and maybe do a hoxey treatment I should be okay... Any comments?

DO NOT let the drs pressure you into doing anything.

When I had my lumpectomy, I would have been content to just do chemo - I had already had half my lymph nodes removed and was worried about lymphedema.  But the drs really insisted that I HAD to have radiation, and I relented.  And now I DO have lymphedema, as a result of the radiation.

There are plenty of ways to keep the cancer from coming back (immediately getting rid of any pockets of cells that might remain and as of yet be undetectable really is one of the keys to success.)  I think a round of treatment at the Hoxsey clinic is a good idea.  After that, a commitment to diet, supplements, exercise, and a lifestyle that promotes immune system health in my book is an excellent prescription for follow-up of your surgery.

Sincerely,

Tre

Why is it you do not want radiation?  My husband i a radiaton therapist and of all of the treatments I have had since breast cancer occureed in October 2008 this is the treatment I fear the least.  He can answer my questions as he delivers thet treatments on a daily basis.  Let me know your concerns
