My husband has been dx'd with esophageal cancer w/mets to the liver, stage IV. without chemo, maybe 4 months, with, a year maybe. we've been married 25 years, he's my best friend and of course I am stunned. A social worker/hospice at the hospital where I work has loaned me a book, by Barbara K. Roberts, "Death without Denial, Grief without Apology," which I am finding very helpful, if somewhat painful, to read. I just wanted to pass it along. thanks, Carol
