visit a new site that i heard about  www.healthyberri.com  it just went up and they are preselling their powder.  Where are these doctors located?

Dr. Boudreaux mentioned Black Raspberry Powder @ the April 26th, 2009 Carcinoid Symposium in NYC but not in length.  This has not been discussed before and @ my support group meeting everyone was a little unsure of the studies done with this treatment.  I have recently read where a study was done giving the patients 60 grams (about 2 oz.) per day but they had no final results yet. They want to single out the active ingredient to make a sinthetic version possibly.   I wonder if you can get it @ a health food store but guessing from the original message it sounds like the prescription is the way to go for it to be inexpensive.  Katsen57

If we get a prescription for this then where do we get it? Does the pharmacy have it in stock? Would love to know. My friend has carcinoid that is regressing..... but we really want to knock it for a loop.....

 I have a blog which has two vendor links on the left hand side. The one I like is Nutrifruit b/c they ship for free if you order 3 cans I think.

Also, on ACOR there is info on blacck rasperry but I think the overall measure are grams per weeight....I think I posted it on ,one of the entires if not its on acor from woltering...its a boat load a day to be clear for cancer stability. The links are on right, bottom almost. Nutrifruit and another one right next to it from Ohio

Yes Lyn - my husband has been a patient of Woltering/Boudreaux/Wang for the past two years.  We have been very pleased with them.  We went there with all labs extremely out of range an unknown primary and met to the liver.  He has had several major surgeries - including locating and removing the primary.  At this point - all labs are within normal limits.  All Scans are clear.  He is on Sandostatin LAR every 3 weeks and is ,monitored at least every 3-6 months in Kenner.  I am so thankful for the skill these doctors have and their passion for patients and life in general.  My husband was told he was inoperable and that he was only a candidate for high dose radiation by our local doctors - so we just prayed and did alot of research and found these doctors and several others, but they were the closest to us.  Still about a 5 hour drive, but to have his life back it is more than worth it.  If you have any questions please feel free to message me.  They have a conference September 24-26 in New Orleans - it should be a really good one if you can make it. Best Wishes to you.  God bless!!  

My mother is a patient of woltering and Wang did her liver surgery.  She told me a month ago that when she saw him in May he told her to take this.  He didn't give her a prescription for it though.  I will have to let her know, b/c she had to order it online.  Where do you take the prescrpition to?  My mother loves to talk with people that have carcinoid cancer.  But my mom told me I need to take this b/c if anyone in our family was to get this cancer it would be me.  My mom and I both have PCOS and all that is, is a hormone problem.  And of course carcionoid cancer is also hormones.  Too bad there are no early tests to find this cancer.  I guess it's just wait and see for me.

Please be careful about believing in "cures".  i've heard and read about all sorts of claims including baking soda & maple syrup and even plankton from ocean water.  Look for hard-core studies done by reputable medical institutions, and additional studies that show similar results (meaning the results could be duplicated by a separate independent study).

It's unfortunate how much false hope is given to us out there.
