worried and waiting

I had my second LEEP procedure 6 days ago.  I pounded my doctor with questions this time.  I have had multiple abnormal paps.  And my last one was High Grade changes.  So, I had a cloposcopy. I shown no abnormal cells on the cervix surface, so my doc did an ECC.  It came back as High grade also.  So that is why I just had the LEEP.  He is now telling me that the cells may be deeper into my tissue and that he may refer me to specialist.  Depending on how the LEEP results come back.  I have been dealing with this for almost 4 yrs.  I have a few normal Paps but mostly they have been abnormal, ranging from ASCUS to High grade.  I am so frustrated and worried about these results I am going crazy.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am in the some situation like u are ! I had a laser vaporization for severe dysplasia(pap smear result) colposcopy and biopsy show only cin 1 (easy dysplasia) last year in august !

In september 2008 pap smear comeback normal but now in march my pap smear comeback abnormal(easy to moderate dysplasia ), my oncologyst make a colposcopy but my cervix look perfectly normal, now i am in waiting hell of my biopsy and ECC and onother pap smear .If the ecc comeback positive or the pap smear again is abnormal  i will have a second surgery also, this time a cone biopsy !

I thing u have dysplasia in the endocervical canal because of this pap smear still comeback abnormal !In this cases doctors make a cone biopsy(in my country) !

Did u doctor make a ECC(endocervical curettage) ?The ECC is the only way to check if dysplasia is present in the endocervical canal !

I wish i had more answers for u but unfortanly i dont !

Maybe u should take copys of u lab results, like this u will see for u self what is going one !

Like i said in my message from what i understand from my doctor , when is dysplasia present in the endocervical canal is necesarry a cone biopsy but also a leep will take care of it !

I dont know where u live but maybe u will feel better if u go to see a gyneco/oncologyst , me i dont trust doctors and because of this i like to have onother opinion, right now i have 2 oncologyst(feel more safe like this).

Have you actually looked at the lab reports? It may be your doctor should have sent you to a specialist from the beginning. Check to see if there has been any dysplasia in the endocervical canal or the endocervical glands from the very beginning. If it turns out your doctor should have sent you to the specialist and has been just making money from you, the whole time, from the follow-up PAP smears, biopsies, and LEEP's, he may need to be reported.
