I just got the news that my mom has endometrial cancer and she had her uterus removed and is back home,it's been 5 day after her surgery and is going through a lot of pain. She does not know it as yet and we as her children are struggling to break the news to her and worried as to how she would react.

She has diahrea, vomiting, and sore mouth and wondering what kind of nutritious food she should be given to her and also before she starts her Radiation and Chemo in about 3 to 4 weeks from now.Pl anyone out there kindly furnish me with more insight about this  would be greatly appreciated.

there a lot of information to help her with endometrial cancer, but at the momment I dont want to over load you with it, so for the momment I realy think the Budwig diet will help her in the sort and  long term,. the  thing is it can take up to 12 month to finish it work, as it nor distroying like chemo and radiation do,  but repairing her body,  in the mean time it will stop the cancer mets in its tracks and give her a chance to heal God be with you both Ray

hi=so sorry to hear about your mom.i am approaching a 3 year survival of my own endometrial cancer.what has prompted me to write is your moms pain.isn"t she on pain meds???perhaps she needs a different type or dosage.please make her md aware of this situation.while some discomfort is expected most of her pain should be manageable with medicine.i had a total hysterectomy along with the removal of 30 lymph nodes and the omentum.it was very painful but most tolerable with meds.no decent surgeon wants to see a patient in pain.while my radition and chemo weren"T pleasant my intial fear was half my battle.hang in there,do research and be pleasantly aggressive in asking questions to your mds and nurses.i've found all the health care workers in this area of medicine to be very kind.RESEARCH on line--a weath of info available.good luck!!!
