Hello all, and thank you for the love and support you have given Steve and my family through his illness. For those of you who don't know, Steve was dianosed with Stage IV lung cancer that had metastasized to the bone July of 2006. Steve has been an extremely strong person throughout his journey. He is still with us today, but the Dr told him this morning that the treatments wasn't working any longer, and that he need to go on Hospice. I haven't dealt with Hospice, nor have I dealt with cancer before, and I'm terrified of what this may entail. He seems more positive than any of us :-). Does anyone know when Hospice comes in, how long a person has to live?? I know that my God only knows this, but when they call them, what are they looking at in length???? Any answers would be greatly appreciate, and I look forward to speaking with you.
