I am not sure which diet you are speaking of but I took that route and am happy to say am still here. I did 10% medical and 90% holistic. I had a different cancer but it is an incurable one and the lifespan of the average Multiple Myeloma patient is 3 years post diagnosis. At this point I am cancer free. If you go to the search area of cancer compass and put in Tre or Treehouse you will get dozens of postings from her that detail healthy living and how to help beat cancer.
The other thing to check out are the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. They have had great success combining natural and traditonal treatments for all cancers and Ovarian cancers. It will depend on your insurance and where you live but go to www.cancercenter.com they have live help, by computer of phone and are wonderful people. Go for it you have NOTHING to loose and everything to gain!!! mms

I was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer in June of 2007 and had a total hysterectomy in Oct. 2007. Now in April 2009 it is back. They told me is slow growing when I got it I should of asked if it is still considered slow growing. I'm thinking of going on the cancer diet to see if it works, I've heard if you make your body alkaline the cancer cells can't grow. Does anyone know if this is true or even if it helps. I'm supposed to start a new round of chemo on April 23, 2009 carbo & paxil & maybe avastin if my ins. approves it. Please let me know as soon as possible,
Worried
