I have been diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer It has now spread to 3 of the lymph nodes on the right side of my neck.  Treatment is to start in 2 weeks.  I am concerned that it is a fast spreading cancer and that 2 extra weeks will make a big difference. Am I right?  The radiology oncologist is of the oppinion it will not make a big difference.

Waiting two weeks is OK.  You will get ALOT more information if you put your messages in the Head and Neck Cancer section of the Message Board.  For some reason, we all go there, not the Throat Cancer section.

Yes, this is an aggressive cancer...........HPV caused responds very well to treatment.....
