Hi Everybody,

I'm writing from Brazil and my fater's doctor ask him to start a treatment based on Prostasol (along with Zoladex - once every 28 days).

Last week I have ordered Prostasol from Seacoast Vitamins website.

I recieved it today, but instead of Prostasol, it says Quercitin Plus.

Could someone, please, tell me if it's the same thing?

I also would like to know if this supplement is estrogen free?

My father wants to go to Swiss at Dr. Pfeiffer's Aeskulap Clinic. Could someone tell us some experienceat this clinic?

Thank you very much for your answers.

Best Regards

There a medical waring The Danish Medicines Agency has become aware that the product Prostasol, which is sold via foreign websites, contains oestrogen without this appearing from the packet.

The description of the contents states that Prostasol is a pure herbal product, but a Danish analysis shows that Prostasol contains diethylstilbestrol (synthetic oestrogen). Products with diethylstilbestrol are medicinal products, just like other products with hormones.

Prostasol is often used as a dietary supplement for patients with prostate cancer.

Prostasol is not authorised by the Danish Medicines Agency, as such products must be, and we therefore warn people against using it.

The Danish Medicines Agency encourages people who have bought Prostasol to stop using it and hand over the remaining part of the product to a pharmacy.

My husband has gone to Dr. Pfeifer in Switzerland and he also took the Prostosol/Quercetin Plus from Seacoat.

He had his prostate removed but the PSA when up to 5.5 and after one month of Prostosol it went down to 0.1.  It has been one year now and it is till 0.1.  However, he was referred by Dr. Pfeifer to Dr. Nessulhut in Germany to have a vaccine made.  We went to Germany where they made the vaccine and Dr. Nessulhut flies to New York monthly where the patients in the US fly in and receive their vaccine monthly.  We are very pleased with the results.

I want to mention when you take the Prostosol you should do a PSA after one month.  My husband started with three pills a day and then reduced to two and then one every three days and then stopped.  We were told to not stop quickly because you do not want to cause a spike in the PSA.  Also, you only want to take it until the PSA drops since body can become immune to it.  The only side effect he has was some breast tenderness which went away after he stopped the pills.  I hope this information is helpful...good luck.

Hi Linda,

Thank you very much for your valuable information.

My father PSA was over 30 and he started with 2 pills (3 times a day), on April 15th. So he will test again his PSA in a couple of weeks. We hope it comes down. He is also taking Zoladex every month.

Dr. Pfeifer in Switzerland is also an option for us. I have tried to know something about charges and treatment expenses but they don't inform any of this through e-mail. I'll have to call them.

My father have asked me about some vaccine, but I couldn't find it.

I have found some researches at Dendreon Corp. with a new drug called Provenge, and Active Cellular Immunotherapy (ACI) which it seemed to me as being a sort of vaccine.

Thank you for your advise on reducing the dosage before stopping the Quercetin Plus / Prostasol.

Good luck to you too.

Regards
