Is anyone dealing with Peritoneal Cancer? If so, how is it going. I hear so much about Ovarian and although they are treated the same, does anyone have anymore in put?

Been dealing for a year and so tired, fat and discouraged. Did 9 rounds of Taxol and  Carbo and now on Gemzar and Cisiplatin for 12 sessions considered 6 rounds. Its knocking the heck out of me.

Thanks, Sissy

Hi Lori, most of us on this site are dealing with Peritoneal Cancer.  If you just found this message board, continue reading - go to page 2 and find the topic "Chemotherapy" that has about 490 messages on it.  If you read through it you will learn a lot about this disease and us that are surviving.

I was DX May 06 and am on my second round of chemo - Gemzar/Carbo which really works for me.  CA125 is 8 now.

Good luck with your treatment.

Gayle
