Colposcopy

Well I recently did my colposcopy and my biopsy came back negative. However, my obgyn also did a pap prior to the biopsy and that test still came back showing abnormal cells. Does anyone have any idea why this might happen?

Did the doctor do an ECC? If not, insist on it.

I had my colposcopy and my results came back negative for cancer but they were HGSIL (high grade pre-cancer cells). Were your results negative for cancer or the lesions? Did you have a ECC or LEEP procedure? I have the LEEP procedure tomorrow to remove the pre-cancer cells.
