tumor size and PET-scan imaging

Can the size of a tumor be determined by the PET-scan SUV?  For example, although my December PET-scan was absolutely clear, my current imaging show nodules with SUV of 10.8, 9.1, 8.4, 6.7, 6.0, and 4.8.  Do the higher numbers mean they are bigger or maybe more active?  These nodules are in the right lung and the mediastinum.
