My 46 yr old nephew was diagnosed last week with stage 4 bilateral BAC with mets to the thyroid and neck lymph nodes. Had no symptoms till 1 month ago when he was diagnosed with pneumonia after 3 rounds of antibiotics and a catscan the BAC was discovered. They recommended Tarceva, which he hasn't started yet as they're trying to get it from the company 1 month of medication ? $800. Has anyone else had a problem getting the meds?
