RE: Erbitux Doses

Hi there, I am sorry to hear about your brother. My husband is in his 5th week of treatment, with radiation 5 days a week, and chemo, Erbitux, once a week. We have been very fortunate, my husband has done just fine throughout the past 5 weeks, but now he is starting to feel the effects of it all. The only thing that I can tell you is try to keep his spirits up. Cancer loves negativity, so there isn't any room for negativity. Keep your chin up and if you are a spiritual person, pray, pray a lot. I think that my poor husband is on every prayer list in the South East, and it helps. Good Luck.Sincerely,Carrie

Erbitux Doses

My husband has been given the option of having 3 Cisplatin treatments over 7 weeks, or 35 Erbitux treatments along w/Radiation. Radiation everyday and Erbitux everyday for 7 solid weeks. Anyone out there had to do this, everything that I am reading is telling me that people are only getting 1 Erbitux treatment a week. Help!!!
