my mom just had her ct scan results last monday. she has been taking torisel for a year now (she has kidney cancer mets to lungs diagnosed last april 2008). the past scans has shown no change in nodules. however, she started coughing 2 weeks ago and the doctor ordered another scan. this time it showed that the nodules grew (something like 6.8 on the scale?)...the doctor immediately took her off torisel and now saying she has to take sutent. please keep me posted on your progress. i am terrified and can't stop crying.
