Bless you Damon Damon,     that was beautiful.  My daughter age 21 is just completing her first round of chemo(6 treatments).  We were excited about the future until I decided to ask the question,"whats the plan of care afterward?"  We were told a ct-scan and another 6 rounds.  My heart broke for her.  I know I must be strong for her b/c I think she looks to me for my reactions(I am a nurse).  I also think that just being by a person's side speaks volumes.  We are there to listen, support, and even offer a shoulder if needed.  I am the lucky one to be able to be by her side!  I like the metaphor of the willow tree, how elequently described. rnmom Fri, 29 May 2009 00:00:00 GMT Willow Lady,My wife has been with me for 1 1/2 sine DX in Nov 2007. My partner has MM, went through two years of chemotherapy - various trials many complications. Got the all clear and know results are positive again. Chemotheraphy has to start all over.
