Suspected causes of H.Pylori infection

I had H.pylori infection for about a year now and recently a urea breathe test came up negative of the infection. Had so far prescribed a combination of antibiotics for 3 times each lasting for about 14days.

I had the same problem of trying to establish the cause of this bacteria infection. Initially, I thought eating alot of raw fish(sushi) would have caused it. Somehow I realized later that when I was on antibiotics, the bleeding on my gums completely stopped. Before this, I used to have swollen gums for the last 4-5years even after visits to the dentistal treatment.

So I suspected there could be a link to the infection. I also had a friend who had this h.pylori and he said he is treated for periodontal problems. It was quite apparent that there was a connection to all this. And so I did a search on the net and found some acticles that explained a possible cause of h.pylori through dental problems.

I hope this infection can be detected and prevented earlier  Do keep your mouth and teeth clean all the time to prevent bacteria to grow there
