Hi Guys/Gals !

Just wanted to share that I had my feeding tube removed yesterday. It stung a little but nothing like the first one they removed. Yep this was the second one. Now just have the trache in the neck, when that comes out hopefully soon, I will be a whole man again on my own. I feel Great ! All biopsy's show negative for cancer and I am on my way. Keep Praying out there for me and others,it works !!!! You can beat this ugly monster called cancer but it takes a lot of can do, don't give up type will power/attitude, help from GOD the greatest healer of all and a great Caregiver. I had all three on my side. I feel so lucky and just wanted to share it with you all. You can do it, and you are not alone. There is light at the end of the tunnel  Always....... If I can ever be of assistance I monitor this Head & Neck page most days. I'll try to answer anyting I can. I had Base of the tongue cancer Stage 4 with lymphnodes envolved, Neck disection both sides /removal of nodes,Radaition/Chemo, All the normal things that go with it, Nasty Mucus build up, sleepless nights, times when I wanted to give up. I even wrote out my last will and testiment. So yes its rought and will put you and a different state of mind and make you appreciate each and every day you have with your Loved ones and co-workers too. But never Give up. Good luck and God Bless you all.
