I read your message about your uncle and essiac and budwig diet. Can i have some more information please. My father was diagnosed with inoperable pancreatic cancer with metastasis to the liver one month ago. We already started chemo as they told us to do but i would like to try the alternative. I am from Greece and no one here ever heard of it.
Thanks

I also had Chemo and Radiation for 5 weeks after the surgery.
I feel great now.
My daughter has a friend, who's brother was diagnosed with cancer and was given 6 months to live, he is still alive cancer free and that was 5 years ago!!!! He takes Essiac Tea.
Try it....

Hello Nicoleta! http://essiac-info.org/ and http://www.cancure.org/budwig_diet.htm

These are two websites that are very helpful in learning about Essiac and the Budwig diet. Essiac was developed by a nurse in Canada after she met a woman who was cured by a native american who gave her the formula. She treated people for years and had amazing results. Johanna Budwig has been nominated for several Nobel prizes. She studied the blood of cancer patients and found that the blood was lacking important lipids. She helped people by giving them flax oil, along with milk protein, so the body can absorb it better.

My uncle took 2 oz., twice a day of the essiac that he ordered from www.anursesherbaltea.com. He also took four tablespoons of flax seed oil in one cup of cottage cheese per day. He did this EVERY day for three months and is still doing it. When he went in for a check up, his inoperable tumor had shrunk to almost nothing! He decided to go ahead and have the Whipple procedure, since doctors were unable to do anthing prior. He also had chemotherapy and the Essiac greatly helped his side effects.

My uncle has never been very interested in alternative medicine. So, I was surprised when he was willing and diligent with the essiac and flax.

No matter how ill your father may seem, I believe this can help him. A retailer for the flax oil is www.thevitaminshoppe.com.

Good luck!! I'll be thinking of you and your family.

Dear Jeanniec:

I read with great interest the story about your uncle. My mother was diagnosed with advanced pc just over three months ago. We have been given very little hope and very few options. She did do the Budwig regimen for awhile but stopped b/c she could not stand the taste and she is taking a tea (Esiak) but I fear it is not the "real thing". It does come in a dark bottle but says right on the label it is 15% preservatives. My question - how is your uncle doing now? I am frustrated by the number of unethical people out there who are trying to cash in on the Essiac name by selling inferior products. Any advise you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I hope your unlce is doing well.

Hello!  There is much hope for your mother!  After my uncle diligently took the flax oil and essiac for four months, his tumor was almost gone.  So, he decided to go ahead with the Whipple procedure.  His doctors were floored.  They had never seen a case like this in advanced pancreatic cancer.  Granted he did have chemotherapy, in which the essiac helped the side effects.  At the moment he is cancer-free and still taking the flax oil and essiac in smaller doses.

He orders his essiac from the site http://anursesherbaltea.com .  If you haven't already check out http://essiacinfo.org as well.

Even though your mom doesn't like the flax oil(partnered with a milk protein), she should take it and take it religiously along with the essiac.  If she only takes it sometimes it won't work   My uncle believes the flax oil is what helped him most.  Look up the "Budwig diet" and see what wonderful results Johanna Budwig has gotten in her practice.  It is amazing.  She's been nominated for seven nobel prizes for her work.

I understand in the world we live in, natural remedies seem to be catagorized with wives tales.  My uncle was never interested in herbal medicine.  His wife is a nurse and was against him taking the essiac and the flax.  He had no other options in the matter though.  At first, doctors just told him to go home and gather his family because he had as little as six weeks, but maybe a few months.  That was over a year and half ago and now he is vibrant and cancer free.  I believe that they wanted to do chemo after they found out that he had really good health insurance.  They waited an entire month to start it, after telling him that he had six weeks to live.

Good luck to you and your mother!  Please ask if you have any other inquiries.

Take care.

jeannie
