I am waiting on results of a screening

Hi, I am 39 years old and have for the last 6 months, had a white discharge which is continuous and very embarassing with a slight smell, abdominal pain and back passage pain, tiredness and a bit sick, not feeling myself at all so went to the doctor yesterday and she took a swab and did an internal.  Told me she would screen for chlamidia but I am have been married for 18 years and never slept around! but she also took 4 lots of blood and said she could not feel anything from the internal but wanted to screen me and said get back to her in 1 week for the results.  I know from my mother dying of cancer that these signs are symptoms of cancel of the cervix so I am a bit worried about this.  Can someone advise please?

I thought heavy bleeding and pain after sex were the big signs of cervical.  I didn't have any signs of cervical cancer but it sounds like you are in good hands.  I had heavy bleeding after being diagnosed (not sure if that was from the hysterectomy surgery).  You might just have an infection.

Did your doctor check you for bacterial vaginosis?
