Dave's CT scans today

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would write a quick note to let you all know that Dave had another set of scans today.  He had CT scans, brain scan, and bone scans.  The last scans which were done about 7 weeks ago showed that the Torisel had quit working (it worked well for 8 months), so the oncologist switched Dave to Sutent 50 mg.

We got good news today!  The scans show no new growth anywhere, and all the tumors in his lungs, brain, and adrenal glands have remained stable and some have even shrunk a little!  We are so happy and excited.  This is the first good news we've had in a long time.  The last two sets of scans weren't so happy, but this one was great.

I want to thank you all who have been praying for us.  I pray for everyone on this forum every day.  We are family, after all!!

Nancy
