biopsy results

Well it has been13 days since my dads first liver biopsy.Mind that we were told he has gallbladder cancer with a 14cm liver tumor with portal nodes involved.The biopsy from 4 sites has returned showing only necrotic tissue.??????Now they want him to have another biopsy .....here we go again, meanwhile I finally convinced his dr to start him on some antibiotics because his WBC is 70....all his bloodwork is abnormal and liver function test was in the critical levels.He has pain under the right ribs and his liver is huge....What does all this mean....Does he have cncer,wouldn't it show in the biopsy...noone has any answers and the surgeon said he will not touch my Dad until another biopsy. Meanwhile he is at home getting weaker and having trouble eating...We are from Vancouver Canada and good old universal healthcare means wait list galore.it has been a week since the dr told us he needs another biopsy yet we still haven't gotten a call for an appt....I feel frustrated and useless...I want to help him but I don't know hoe
