Hi,  I reported that my pet scan was clear.  Now I'm having a little discumfort in my pelvic area,  I'm worried that there are tumors growing there,  I didn't feel this before.  Maybe its all in my head.  Please let me know if anyone else had this feeling.  Hope  everyone is doing okay.  You are in my prayers  Ann

I had surgery for reoccuring GCT ( 2 tumors in ab one on liver) They were @ 9.5-11 cm in size. I experienced no discomfort at all. I would like to think if PET clear then it is unrelated but let your MD know.

I would love to get anyone thoughts on chemo for CGT, since this was my second reccurance (12 yrs betwen) they are talking chemo, I can not find anything that shows chemo is efffective. I think I would rather monitor with blood tesy and scans, work on better diet and see what happens

Thanks

Diane

Hi Ann,  I always have discomfort in my abdomen for several days after chemo.  I believe it is related to the chemo and the Neulasta shot.  I also have pains under my rib cage after I exercise too hard or walk too much.  All tests show nothing is there and the PET scan looks good.  I think we just have to get used to these and move on.  That's what I'm trying to do.Good luck,

Gayle
