wet lungs

What does it mean to have "wet lungs?"  I have heard this, but am not sure what it means.  And when I hear my father "bubbling," I think that may be it, but am not sure.

Is it when the lungs are enlarging and the cancer growing?  If so, that is exactly what is happening to my father right now.

Thank you.

Maggie

Maggie:

It means u hear a lot of wheezie noise inside your dad's lung. It means his lung is drowning in water.  Take care of this immediately or it could get worsen and your dad will have a pneumonia complication (as u hear a lot of actors / actresses passed away not due to CANCER but pneumonia complication instead).

There are many ways to help your Dad on this as part of the cancer tumor growing in his lung causing all of this excessive secretion.

1. Pulmonary Infection ( Too much water in the lung will infect his lung) -> antibotic breathing treatment (ie colistin) is better than an IV antibotic treatment.

2. Potassium Sparring Diuretic Water pill to drain his water out.

3. Pleural Effusion drainning

4. Suctioning (?)

Take care, God Bless all.

Victoria

2.

Thank you so much, Victoria.  He is already on a diuretic.  I will communicate your suggestions, and I appreciate them so very much.
