RE: My dad is not doing well

Hi Amy, Thank you very much. I wish I could say he is not in pain but he is in terrible pain. he's already on morphine he probably much can't be without it. Right now he is still in ICU, I have tried to speak with him all day but the nurse told me he was sleep. We just don't know, my poor mom is just devasted as she just buried her mom about three weeks ago from liver cancer. At the same time I comforted in knowing that god is not picking on my family this board clearly illustrates that no matter your age, gender, race anyone can get cancer and it's just so scary. Stomach cancer is so fast moving it's unreal. Thanks again. Shanda

Dear Shanda,

I'm so sorry that your father is having to experience this. I hope that he isn't in pain and that his doctors are able to help him.

My dad is not doing well

My dad came home on friday. He was undergoing aggressive chemo and radiation. My brother stopped by the house to check on him and he had gone to the bathroom all over his self and my brother said it was black. He was so sick he was lying in it and it was all over the bed and everywhere. My brother had to lift him and put him in the tub. They are now at the emergency room and I'm at work. He is slipping away and he was only diagnoised in late March. I am just devasted, I can't shake the feeling that it is not going to be to much long. Shanda
