It has relaly helped reading your messages! Also -- has anybody else gotten a sore mouth after having applied more than a pea-sized amount of Carac? I think I might be ultra-sensitive to this medicine. With blue eyes, fair skin, and blonde hair (parents were Norwegian and Irish) - I think i got possibly the most suspeceptible of skin types!    You must not have a lot of pre cancerous cells if you reacted in such a manner. I just finished 4 weeks of carac to the face and carac with Retin A mixed to the scalp . Your aks are apparently isolated and reacting well. Interestingly I had chrmo iv for colon cancer with 11 mos of 5fu which is fluoracil based , as is carac powerful stuff it fought off my cancer for a bit , but side effects were extreme .Now they use drugs that ease the side effects , but that was 13 yrs ago . I wouldn't be concerned .your response is  normal.  ( My Dr  joked that I had " cheap Irish skin " .)   He's Irish too and has the same problem with the sun .Good luck .
