Is Sutherlandia OPC a scam?

I have been reading about the much praised 'miracle cure' that is Sutherlandia OPC, and the anecdotes (advertisements?) sound so convincing that I can't help but consider purchasing a few bottles for my uncle suffering from stage IV PC. However, I wanted to consult those who may already have experience administering/taking this before I potentially waste money on yet another unproven treatment. Does anyone here have a success story they can share that doesn't involve a friend who had a friend who had a relative who took it, etc.?

You might wish to take a look at the various success stories posted at the Oleander Support Forum or the Cancer Alternative Forum at CureZone

http://www.curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=936

http://www.curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=254

as well as the "Oleander Series" of articles at:

http://www.tbyil.com/articles.htm

I wrote those articles as well as a book about oleander and yes I promote and advertise Sutherlandia OPC because it works.  You will note on my website that there are no affiliate links to the product, just a link to the main website.

One of the success stories happens to be my own 86 year old uncle.

For those who wish to look outside the box, I will note that the Sutherlandia OPC (or other forms of oleander, including the patented medicine Anvirzel - one of two oleander based drugs currently in FDA trials) works particularly well when combined with the Budwig flaxseed/cottage cheese diet and other healthy dietary and lifestyle choices.

Whatever you decide, I wish you all the best.
