My dad has stage 4 lung cancer with brain metastatis and now his blood vessals in his feet and up the leg are popping and is barely drinking any fluids, complains of dizziness, lossing more weight, and sleeps all the time. I was just wondering if he is suffering from dehyderation and is this serious and what can I do. He is very stubborn and wants no doctor called, and NO we have no hospice either due to him not wanting them.
I have a freind whose mother is a nurse and she says sounds like yes he is dehyderating and slowely his body is shutting down and if he wants to sleep let him sleep and yes the end is near! I was just wanting to know if anyone else caring for has experienced this. I love him very much but if this is a sign that he is ready to go I will accept this and hope he goes peacefully.
