Acupuncture helped, not with the cancer, but definitely with my mom's symptoms.  I believed it rid her of nausea, ended her cough, and sometimes stimulated her appetite.  I was lucky to have someone come to the house.  My mom did not have BAC; she had adenocarcinoma-- but I don't think that matters.  Acupuncture is especially helpful with nausea.   Roz

Hi.I was told by my acupuncturist that he can't help my cancer.But he did help with the symptoms and after affects of the treatment for head and neck cancer which in my case was radiation and chemo.Which left me with lock jar,no saliva,indigestion,dysphasia among other things.Since my first session,my jaw is able to open wide,i have saliva,one gland the submandular  is the only one he can stimulate again, which is better than nothing.And in turn allows me to eat better.Also he stimulated my weak throat muscles which allows me to eat again.So anyway i hope my story helped some.But in no way would he treat me for cancer he states.Good luck with your tx.                                  Charlie W.
