Unfortunately my Dad passed away on the 26th of April 09. I will miss him every day of my lfie. But although his physical body has gone his spirit will be with us for ever.

I would like to thank people on this forum for their support and their postings.

I will continue every once in awhile to log in. But would like to put it out there. We had my Dad at home through hospice care and if you are in this  situation and can actually keep them at home do.. It was the most strangest experience in my life but at the same time its what we all wanted and my father passed away in his own home with those he wanted around him..It allowed us to say goodbye in our own time. In addition I think it helped us throught the hardest thing we have ever had to do in our life.

I hope sooner rather than later a cure can be found for this horrible disease. My thoughts and heartfelt feelings are with anybody dealing with this at the moment.

I am so, so sorry for your loss.  I hope your father's memories bring you comfort and time soon eases your pain.

I feel for you, my dad passed on May 28th from this awful disease. It is very tough but I know with time my family and I will get through as will you and your family.

I am sorry you lost your dad to this horrible disease.  I lost my husband Mike to stomach cancer February 22, 2008 after a three year battle at stage IV.  He fought so hard and never complained.  They are out of their pain and are happy now.  We will meet again...until then...

God bless you,

Diane, Mike's wife
