RE: Asking for prayers!

Hi Terry:We exchanged a few replies about my dad back in november. he passed away almost a month ago. If you are anything like his spirit...you can do this and fight!!! keep the faith because you will get through this. hope all is well. i will say a prayer for you. On 6/7/2009 Terryjoe wrote:Hello everyone! Just got out of Sweddish Hospital in Seattle a few days ago after a very rough stay that I almost didnot make it back from. The cancer I have left has accelerated growing in in my lower back and liver amoung other places so my calcium levels had grown to an usafe level. Well, somehow the drs go control of the growth and now I am taking radiation therapy of 6 cancer growths on my spine. My spine hurt so bad I could barely walk or get up out of bed or a chair. I have 3 more treatments to go and so far the pain in my back and hips are not so bad. I am still continueing on RAD001 hoping it will succeed. We havve at least decided for right now that we are not going to use the IL2 treatment because of the toxticity of the drug and small amount of suceess. I have stopped working now so I am ready to go out and enjoy ourselves when we can. Anyway, I hope everyone ready the board today is doing well. I had my lt kidney and adrenal gland out back in june 2006 and spent the entire summer in the hospital. I have been on Sutent, Avastin, Nexavar, Torisel, and now RAD001. I still hope to think I have a positive attitude about it alleveryone's sharing of stories and info has gone a lone a way to help me take care all of you and our caregiver's.

Good Evening Terry Joe;I still hope to think I have a positive attitude about it all.And you continue to keep that positive attitude! We need you strong for us. As do your family and friends.Everyone's sharing of stories and info has gone a long way to help me.We all stumble on this wicked path we're on, but the important part is that we continue to pick ourselves back up and fight on! You continue in your fight. Others here are depending on it!I wish you well in your journey!Take care;Kevin
