I was just wondering if this is par for the course as these are all new side effects to him and I am wondering if the chemo has worked. Of course the Dr is saying these are all associated with the Chemo but I find that hard to believe since he has not had them before. Any reponses would be appreciated he spirits are low and I know this is not good having just lost my father in law to cancer in Feb.

1. painful when peeing meaning he has Urine Tract Infection. Does urine smell funny? Looks cloudy?
2. Short of Breath and above sounds like he got a pneumonia contract. Bring him in ER for test right away.
Once he got one pneumonia episode it would be harder to treat his Cancer (weaker immunity). ask the doctor to give him a pneumonia / flu shot and Chicken Pox/Shingles vaccine in advance.
3. Make sure he eats a lot of berry fruits family (black/rasp/blue/strawberry) to keep his immunity up.
