Keep up the prayers, we need them.Sharon djsharon Tue, 16 Jun 2009 00:00:00 GMT Sharon,  How is your Dad doing?  You're in my thoughts and prayers. carriechic7 Tue, 16 Jun 2009 00:00:00 GMT My mother in law was diagnosed 2 mos ago at the age of 90 with adenocarcinoma stave iv.  The dr told her that she has 7-8 months.  Because of her age (and a couple minor health problems) they agreed with her choice not to undergo any treatment.  It' had been 2 months since her last visit, we saw her oncologist yesterday and the tumors have grown.  She is extremely tired and has shortness of breath now.  What an awful disease.  There are no answers. carriechic7 Tue, 09 Jun 2009 00:00:00 GMT My Dad was just diagnosed with adenocarcinoma.He is going to be 81 Wed. Anyone dealing with this in an aged patient? The pulmonary Dr. told us maybe 6 mos. to live. The Cancer Dr. hasn't given a time frame. He started a small dose of chemo today.
