My wife has sarcoma cancer. It reportedly began in her fallopian tube, then went to her right ovary and then she had a large tumor removed from her colon. The tumor was diagonised as Mullerian mixed sarcoma. We went to Duke University and have a chemo plan, but I would like to know of other types of treatment and SUCCESSES for this rare type of cancer. Her chemo consistes of ifosfamide and mesna cisplatin which I believe is a standard form of chemo.

You will find a wealth of information on the sarcoma mailing list at ACOR. Here is the link: http://www.acor.org/index.html

Open the mailing lists and go to the sarcoma list. You will have to apply to join but it will be well worth it.

Good luck,
Wendy

I was told that I had a Retroperatineal Sarcoma and that chemo might slow it down but would not make it go away. I have since had two surgeries that removed 23 and 21 pounds of tumors respectively. I went 11 months without any new sites but on my March o5 cat scan I had five new site, one on each lung and one each on my spine, next to my right kidney and one below my liver. Each was about the size of a lemon. My family got on the internet and found two alternative medicine treatments. I took the first on about four weeks and the secon one for three weeks before my April cat scan. All of the sites had reduced by 20-30%. On my last cat scan on June 22 the two on my lungs were GONE and the other three had reduced by at least 75% and prompted my Doctors to state that "this is nothing short of a Amazing. I am attaching the twoweb sites that have produced such amazing results for me and hope they will be of help to you and your wife! These treatments seem to work the quickest on fast growing soft-sided tumors, but do work on most tumors. Thanks Carl

Hi! I was reading with great interest as to your sarcomas shrinking! May I have the method to which this was done? I am terrified you see, being just newly diagnosed with a sarcoma on my inside left knee. Won't know much more till friday the 1st of July when I hear what the oncologist has to say. Please inform me! My sarcoma was huge, like a grapefruit! Anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated! Thank-you

My mother also was diagnosed with sarcoma. She also has a very large tumor in her stomach but when they opened her up they were unable to remove the tumor because it had attached to the lining of her stomach. She’s not on any medication nor is she receiving chemo. I really would like the website addresses so that maybe we could look into some other forms of treatment. Thanks.

My husband had a large sarcoma in the thorax and it was
inoperable because it was entwined with all the major
vessels in the chest cavity. They did 6 rounds of
aggressive chemo, doxirobicin and insofamide and the
tumor is gone. They plan now to monitor with CT scans
every 2 months.

I too have sarcoma that has metastecized to my lungs and now is coming through my chest wall. I have had two different regimes of chemo and am now undergoing radiation.

Can you please share with me the alternative treatments that you have found?
