I will pray for a healing for you. I was diagnosed with ovca in July 2007. I had 6 month ofg carboplatin taxol. Before starting chemo I had surgery to remove a lymph node on the right side of my groin. It had metastized Chemo started and 4 months into chemo I had another lymph node removed on my left side of the groin. It was benign. Started chemo agian and finished my 6 rounds. Two months later I had a laprscopic omenmectomy. Went into remission for only 4 months and started chemo again. I have been on a clinical trail for 6month that did nothing to help me get rid of ascites. The doctors gave up on me and suggested that I get my affairs in order. I had records changed to another doctor anbd we started Gemzar and taxetere in Feb 2009. Still doing chemo and CA125 count are at 245. Hang in there. I think everyone reacts differently to chemo. No other types of treatment. Just try to eat right. May God Bless you, Debbie

I was diagnosed with Ovca stage 3 in Dec. 2004, I had 6 months of Carboplantin and taxol but stopped 4 doses early due to the side effects. I swear the chemo was killing me faster that the cancer. I did go into remission for 12 months then a pet-scan showed cancer on my liver. Started chemo again and had an allergic reaction after the 3rd dose of Carboplantin. I went into Respitory arrest and almost died. We waited 5 months then another pet-scan showed that the tumor had grown. This time I had a Radio-Frequency Ablation which killed the tumor with one treatment. After 12 more months of remission the cancer spread to a lymphnode this time I had Cyberknife treatment!!!! I was in remission after 3 treatments. It's been 6 months now and so far I'm still in remission. I really feel lucky to be in remission for the 3rd time and will hopefully stay in remission. Has anyone else had other treatments besides chemo???
