I wonder if there is any trick to have a sucessful transferring a stage 4 cancer patient from one local hospital to a teaching hospital - UCLA / Cedar Sinai to get a better treatment? The case manager has failed to able to transfer my mom to UCLA for clinical trial. Can anyone help to get my mom admit in asap? I want to prolong her life as the current hospital staff thinks mom should go to hospice instead. A lot of patients with stage 4 still can prolong their lives with the appropriate treatments, dont you think? Can I able to get TV news or some organizations to involve to assist my mom to enroll in? She cant go too far as she becomes disable on the shingle attacked 3 months ago along with the trache in 1.5 ago.
Pls suggest me something, i m very heartachedly desparated to take her out of this hospital to take mom to somewher they can treat my mom further more instead keep saying no other options - while there are still many out there!
