Medicare supplement / plan A / plan B question?

Hello,

My mom was transfered to an Accute hospital due to the regional hospital stated my mom medicare going to exhausted.

My question is what supplement plan covered that the part A does not? More hospital stays (105 days vs 308 days) and more doctor visit / extra treatments?

If we buy, how soon it is effective?

Anyone has any ideas?
