I am a 7 year survivor of granulosa cell ovarian cancer. I had the same surgery as you except I also had my omentum removed. I was stage 1a or 1c. There was an issue in the washings, so they weren't sure. For the first 5 years, I visited my gyn-oncologist every 6 months. I had a pelvic, pap, and an Inhibin A & B blood test drawn. The last 2 years, it was 1 x per year. Now, I'm considered good to go. I'm a RN and realize cancer doesn't play by any rules. . .My best advice to you is to listen to your body. If you feel something isn't right, don't give up looking for help until you find someone who will get the answer. Your chances are excellent for a long life. God bless.

I am sorry for the news., however there is a chance it will never return again or so many years from now that it won't matter much and may only require another surgery. May you never hear from this unique tumor ever again. I hope I never hear from this unique tumor ever again. Thank you for the information. I have already done a lot of research on this tumor and that is why I am so worried. glynis
