Can I ask a question of Sonchine? Why can't they just take that one out too via cone biopsy? Why did they go all the way to the radi and chemo? Original poster, I had mine done today and I'm looking forward to the road you are on...yea me. But I guess getting rid of it will be worth it. Now I will wait on pins and needles to ensure margins are clean and I'm just doing paps in the near future! Thank you again! Cindy

I had a cone biopsy/ cold knife/ and D&C done the last week of March of this year.I "leaked" all types of stuff: techno colored discharge, stuff that looked like coffee grounds, and very light bleeding, for almost a month. Then it all cleared up....!!!!!!!My only problem from that was the surgeons left a lesion they missed, and now I will have to have radiation & chemo to get rid of it !!! Talk about sucking the big one......But, I think your concerns are in the normal range, and imagine your Dr. will tell you the same at your follow up!Good luck :--)

This is mostly just a rant.... I had a Leep/Cone Biopsy (yes, both) on June 5th. It hasn't been quite 2 weeks and I'm sooooooo tired of leaking fluid. I know it's normal, but it's bothersome. I can't remember the last time I wore a pad. Probably in early high school when I first got my period. My favorite time is in the morning when I've been laying down all night. I guess the fluid builds up and then finally starts leaking out. Sometimes, doesn't make it to the pad either. How long has it done this for most of you? I hear it's a month or so. I go for my check up on Friday. I'll ask again then, but I know the answer.
