I'm a newbee. You have encouraged me. I just got diagnosed July 24, 2009. I am 54. Gleason was 6,7, & 8. PSA is 2.4. Had an MRI yesterday because they found something on my rib after the bone scan. So, needless to say I can pretty much guess what they are going to tell me about whether it spread anywhere. I am going to have the robotic surgery at Johns Hopkins. I don't want to be impotent either but to be honest, I'd rather live to be a lot older. I have read about the surgery and I am not worried. I'm waiting for the doctor to call with the results of the MRI right now. My doctor has moved very quickly. I appreciate that.

Usuley a poor diet of proscess sugary food and a weaken immune system. to weak to fight our cancer My naterpath told me, cancer loves carbs, so a low carb diet, no sugary food or drink, and high dose, of anti-oxidents, like Vitamin C, well help. vitamin C can and will slow cancer down alot.allthe best Ray
