My Mother was diagnosed in 12/08 with stage 4 colon cancer w liver mets. She has been receiving cutting edge treatment at Fox Chase Cancer Center in PA. We also went to the Univ of Penn for a second opinion. I would recommend either of those institutions. My advise to you is to be aggressive keep looking for the Doc that is right for you. Some of them are complete idiots. All doctors are not created equal and patients are all different. If you do not like the Doc - move on! You can also go on line to Vitals and search top docs. All of my research points to Sloan Kettering, MD Anderson & the big city hospitals. Good luck - this is a fight - put on your armour and win!!!!!
