Thanks, StacyIt is not how good they are, it is whether the doctors are willing to treat your beloved one if they are being labelled of Stage 4 Met cancer patients!   I tried Cedar Sinai and got turn down from a series of good doctors just because my mom was not treat pneunmonia correctly and they were afraid my mom wont make it.  After moved my mom to a smaller hospital, the primary care internist was able to subside her pneumonia however, her lung muscle got weaker and she now needs oxygen support, a trache was put in (what a mistake?) so indeed, no hospital, no good reputation doctors likes to take my mom in for additional treatment.  I think you have to present (pledge) your dad's case to the doctors to see if they are willing to take him in for treatment (either the phone/snail mail/fax) prior wasting your time...   Best wishes,V  CancerStrike2 Sat, 20 Jun 2009 00:00:00 GMT Hi all,Does anyone know any good doctor treating lung cancer in City of Hope?
