Hi I have written before and everyones hopeful stories have been so encouraging.  Recently my mom had a bag inserted into her stomach, because she had a blockage in her small intesting.  They said that they are stopping chemo now and she might not have much time left.  Her cancer didnt hit any major organs but was in the lymph nodes.  Right now she is at MMSKCC is there anyone who has recovered from this?  Do you have any suggestions as far as dealing with her cancer now and nutrition.  Any words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated

My Dad can't eat so he is on TPN (IV feeding) that we give him every night and that sustains his nutrition and he is able to get chemo with that.  He also has a bag.  GOOD LUCK
