Ever hear about a monthly (mailed) newsletter called "Conversations". If you have or had ovarian cancer you might want to look into this. I heard about it a year and a half ago and have been receiving the newsletter ever since then.
"Conversations" was started by Cindy Melancon, who was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 1992 and was told that she had only six months to live. Well, Cindy survived and started "Conversations" just a few years after her diagnosis -- and through her dedication to helping others like herself her newsletter began to reach women with ovarian cancer not only in the US but throughout the world.
In the July edition of "Conversations" I found out that Cindy passed away on June 4, 2003. However, her husband, Don, and her daughter, Angel, are going to do their best to continue on with Cindy's dream of helping others.
The July issue has close to 9 pages of letters from ovarian cancer "survivors," and they are all wonderful and inspiring. In the June issue the main topic was about neuropathy -- and ways to deal with it.
All in all, I can't begin to tell you how informational and supportive "Conversations" has been to me! And since I rarely meet other women who have ovarian cancer, this has been a Godsend.

Love you all!
