RE: Tumor near Heart

My friend and neighbor had a tumor near her heart about 10- years ago. They had to have an open heart team available in case of trouble with the heart. There was none, thank God. She had one lung removed during this operation with no treatments involved later. It was a long recuperation. She was very weak for a long time. Today, I can see her out gardening right now. She is considered disabled and not able to work but if you met her you would never kow there was a thing wrong with her. She looks healthy but does tire if doing too muich. Wishing God's blessings for your family.

My husband has a new tumor near his heart. Its 1.7cm I was wondering if anyone has any information they can share. I am worried as this tumor is growing how is it going to effect his heart. He has already had 6 chemo and 37 radiation that helped slow growth but did not stop it. kzfamily
