Hello,
I just found out this morning that my 10-year old Silky, Kali, has cancer. Multiple masses were found during an ultrasound for what my vet originally thought was an inflamed spleen. When I was presented with options I was basically told that any treatment would not prolong Kali's life.
I was wondering if there are any other conditions, other than cancer, that might lead to masses showing up in an ultra sound. No biopsy has been conducted on any of the masses and I'm wondering if I should have paid to have that done.
