My husband had bowel cancer 7 years ago and unfortunately was diagnosed with secondary cancer in the liver, lungs and lymph nodes. After successful liver resection, he unfortunately developed cancer in the bones in 3 areas: spine, left thigh and right shoulder. He has told the oncologist that he doesn't want to know the prognosis, but I need to know. He was on Xeloda, but unfortunately whilst it was controlling the cancer it was killing him at the same time. He has now been taken off this drug. He seems to have a lot have pain in his back and left leg and has lost a lot of weight. I need to know what to expect.
