Rare type of tumor and less deadly than the common form of ovarian cancer. There is very little literature on this type of ovarian cancer. I suggest that you contact the American Cancer Society or Ovarian Cancer groups for information. They have an excellent (free) Cancer Center at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. They will send you information if you request it. I'm post 7 years. Had surgery to remove both ovaries, tubes, uterus, omentum, appendix. No chemo, no radiation. Eat healthy, take good care of yourself. Get inhibin A & B blood testing, pelvic exams. Get a good gyn-oncologist. God blessHi, I was diagnosed with GTC of the Ovaries in 2007. Now I have two tumors growing in 2009. I had chemo after my first surgery. I'm wondering if that might have caused the reaccurence. I can't seem to get my doctors to do an inhibin A & B blood test. I go to see the surgeon on November 12, 2009 to see if she will do more surgery. My daughter dosen't think she will want to and neither do I. I'll probably have to get another opinion. Ann
