Hello All,

Haven't written in a while as I have been in between retrieving my stem cells and putting them back in me.  I'm getting ready to go back again for part two "The Return of Stem Cells" (Coming soon to a theater near you).  Would have already went back but wanted to finish the season coaching my daughter's softball team.  I go in July 13th and am being told I should be in the hospital for around 18 days.  I'll be bloggin while I'm in again on my website.

Not courage, boredom.  Sitting in that hospital room is boooooring.  Had to do something to pass the time :)

You're funny!!! I remember the boredom after chemo. Couldn't get out of bed for 7 straight days. Yes, it was boring, but I guess it was nothing compared with the type of treatment you are getting.

Good Evening Carlos;

Pleasure seeing you back posting!

Would have already went back but wanted to finish the season coaching my daughter's softball team.

See, this proves there's life after being told you have cancer! We fighters aren't going to let this disease overcome our lives.

So how did the team do?

I go in July 13th and am being told I should be in the hospital for around 18 days.

I was in there that amount. Take your laptop or you'll go nuts.

I'll be bloggin while I'm in again on my website.

We'll keep you in our prayers. Keep fighting the good fight!

Take care;

Kevin

Carlos,

When I wasn't sleeping during my SCT, (I slept lots) my sister and I  found that gigsaw puzzles helped pass the time.  The one we chose was so complicated, every single piece was cut the same shape.  She would get it together - wrong and I didn't have the heart to tell her.  My husband would set with me the next day and 'fix' it, meanwhile she thought she worked the puzzle.  We had so much fun with that silly puzzle.  Also you may find (if you have your laptop with you) that the maj-jong (sp) game will help keep you company.  I think it's one of those free online games.   Hang in there, you have come a long way by now.  Keep up the good fight, we have you in our prayers.

Hi Carlos

  I am new the the message board and obviously new to being a caregiver to my sweetie that was just diagnosed with MM.

 I want to wish you the best on your treatment and pray that it goes well. Those of you that are further up the trail in managing this disease are such an inspiration to those of us following behind.  I have learned so much in just the few short days that I have been on this message board.

You have all given me such hope and also very valuable information to help me understand what to expect, what to demand, and how best support my loved one.  He is a train wreck right now (understandably) and so I am doing the research, helping him with daily activities, and keeping very, very positive (as your post give hope and inspiration for me to share with him).  Blessings as you go for Round Two and please keep us posted as you can.  Best wishes.  Anita

Can't let it.  You're either living with Cancer or dying from it.  I choose to live with it.

So how did the team do?

Won our last game of the season last night!!!  It was a great time!

 I was in there that amount. Take your laptop or you'll go nuts.

 I'll be bloggin, Playing Poker online, and chatting up my wife (and nurses)  hee hee  :)

Hey Marsbars,

Sounds like a great idea (the puzzle) and I might just be able to finish one this time before I throw the whole thing in the trash because it frustrates me :)   I appreciate the thoughts and prayers.
